Dedicated to the memory of Gaz

Gaz was born 15th December 1980. He was much loved by all his friends and family. He was a kind and loving person, that loved; partying, DJing, festivals and spending time with his friends and family. He made a big positive impact on those around him.

On 30th March 2014, he experienced a traumatic accident that changed his life forever. It resulted in a traumatic brain injury and a bilateral amputation just below the knee. Addenbrookes major trauma unit and NCCU were a big part in the beginning of Gaz's recovery. He then went onto Royal Leamington Spa Rehabilitation Hospital, where he began a hard journey to gain some mobility in the parts of his body that he could move. Lastly, in 2015, he was moved to Oakleaf where he would stay. All the carers and staff were absolutely amazing throughout his time there and ensured he was supported where needed. Even in his final days, they were so lovely to ensure Gaz was comfortable.

Although the family lost both their parents, his sister, Nikki, and brother Jamie, along side niece and nephews, Josh, Erin and William, ensured that he would be loved and safe.

We would like to donate to the Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust due to the amount of care and support they gave Gaz, from the moment he arrived by ambulance after his accident to when he was moved to Leamington Spa.
